"Now thanks [be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place." 2 Corinthians 2:14 KJV
I love it!
I love it when God makes the devil bow down! I love it when prayers come together! I love it when prayers are answered with the quickness!
You are probably wondering why I'm acting all hype today. One name: Nikki Atkins. The event: fall from a swing. The fallout: head hit on rock and bleeding in the brain. The aftermath: rushed to hospital and sent to ICU. The regular prognosis: bleak. The interception: the People of God get wind of the enemies attack and stand together to fast and pray until that thing turns around. (I feel the Holy Ghost! You may have to leave your office to shout on this one!) The turnaround: bleeding in brain ceases, supernatural beginning to recovery, released from hospital, continued recuperation at home and is currently, as of this moment, in school, probably at recess, though not on the swing set!
Praise Break!
I just got off the phone with Nikki's dad. The girl is at school! Don't ever tell me what God can't do! God is beyond great! God is incomprehensible, unfathomable and altogether lovely! And guess what? It's your turn to triumph now! Oh yeah baby! This week marks the week of manifestation of glory. Right now, today. You are a walking, breathing and living glory billboard. You are evidence of God's power! You are God's business card. You are on display. God is going to pass you out to the masses like perfume cards at the department store!
Do you smell that? That's what victory smells like! People are going to come back to the counter that is your life and ask what fragrance this is. You tell them it's 'Testimony #7'! Tell them God completed the glory work in your life and now you are able to bring the fragrance of God's name and presence into the lives of others. Tell them what your fragrance is made of: 1 part brokenness, 1 part deliverance, 1 part healing, 1 part faith, 1 part tears, 1 part freedom and 1 part anointing. A complete scent to heal the nations.
Your victory is assured in Christ Jesus. Your life is new in Him. You're not the same. You look different. You act different. You smell different.
The anointing carries a fragrant aroma that causes the promises of God to track you down. So many people try to draw people to themselves by virtue of putting perfume or cologne on their bodies. If you study the Old Testament, you were never supposed to place the fragrant anointing oil on your flesh. True anointing permeates from the inside out. Even for my single sisters. Ladies don't go showing your physical body in order to attract a man. A real man of God will be drawn, not by your sight, but by your scent. If you have that ancient yet still potent fragrance 'Proverbs 31', you will be sure to attract the attention of kings.
Well that's all. Go back to work. Voting ends tomorrow at midnight on www.thedoorpost.com. If you haven't voted for my film 'Before I Wake', you still have time. Bless you and know that the smell of victory is in the air. Do you believe it?
Keep sniffing.
