Who?

Who listens like You lord? Who will respond like You? Who can save like You? Who can deliver like You? Who is worthy of glory and honor and adoration? Who is He that is unspeakably awesome, great in power, and mighty in actions? Is it not You, oh Lord? What have I to fear? Of what do I need to be afraid? Who can stand against me? Who can stop my progress? Who would dare attack a son? Am I not your servant? Are we not Your children?

Could it be that the attacks of the enemy are only allowed to display Your glory? Bless you God! You are He who rests between the cherubim! You are everywhere and nowhere at the same time. You are our healer. You are mighty to save. Your love is immeasurable. Your strength is unmatchable. Your wisdom is endless. You have no need of helpers. There is no one who can teach You anything. You are as awesome and holy and perfect right now as You ever have been and ever will be. You are the God who never changes.

Those who know You by the Spirit worship You now.

We bless You right now. We honor You right! We look to You for our help. Who can save us from ourselves? Who can deliver us from our sinful mindset? Whose earthly wisdom can produce eternal life? No one. It is Your power that sustains us. It is Your mercy that keeps us alive. All the words of all the saints fail to accurately honor you. You are altogether awesome.

Who sustains us in the time of economic woe? Who commands the raven to feed us by the brook? Who watches over us day and night? Who loves us so much that you touched the hearts of others to meet our needs when we couldn't do it ourselves? Who supernaturally extends the life of our gas tanks so that we can get to work? Who protects our children from summertime tragedy? Who heals our broken hearts? Who brings us new, refreshing love? Who fills our hearts with gladness? Who takes into account our frame and yet does not impute it to us as unrighteousness?

Who stays when everyone else leaves? Who watches over His words to perform them in our lives? Who is this King that chooses us? Who is this God that believes in us? Who is this Man that has redeemed us? Who is this loving Father that protects us? Who is this mighty warrior that fights for us? Who is this who sent His son to die in our place? Is it not You Father? Are You not the one that loved us so much that You released your best to redeem the worst? Are You? Yes You are! You are He of whom I speak! You are the 'Who' of my life.

Today I petition you for no particular thing. I did not come with wise words or astounding revelation. I have nothing with which I can impress you. I am but a man. But I offer You this one thing. My praise. For everything You've done for me, thank You. For always being there, thank You. For never leaving me, thank You. For seeing in me what I could not see in myself, thank You. For ascribing value to me what I felt worthless, thank You. For healing my broken heart, thank You. For whispering words of wisdom into my spirit, thank You. Today I just want to say thank You. I love You. I need You. Thank You God for 35 years of life. I honor You today. We honor You today. We celebrate Your might and power today.
